The bill (Reg. No. 9047) amends the applicable laws in part of cooperation with the foreign Ukrainians, their rights, liberties, and obligations.
The bill reads that a foreign Ukrainian legally staying in Ukraine has the same rights, liberties, and obligations as a citizen of Ukraine, unless otherwise specified by the Constitution, the laws of Ukraine or legally binding international agreements.
Under the bill, individuals with the status of a foreign Ukrainian have the right to acquire the citizenship of Ukraine under the procedure established by the Law "On the Citizenship of Ukraine."
